I just finished talking with the parentals from the other
side of the fence and I am just so happy to hear them that they are really
having so much fun with their adventure together. They shared to me their
little petty mishaps and what-nots but in a nutshell, they really are having the
best days of their lives. I am just so happy that they are given this chance to
travel on the different states/places in America like Texas, Houston, San
Antonio, Austin, San Jose, San Franciso, Las Vegas, Virginia, Baltimore, Maryland, Washington,
New Jersey and New York. My heart flutters and flaps with excitement whenever
they call us back home to share their wonderful trip in the US.
My siblings and I will do anything and everything for our
parents who have worked so hard for us to be where we are right now. I am so
thankful that my parents are very supportive to us especially when it comes to
education. They sent us to good schools and made sure that our tuition is paid on
time and that we had enough allowance to last for a week. Sometimes, they gave
us more than what we usually receive so that we can still buy a little of this
and that. My two brothers, my sister and I made our parents happy by graduating on time with two or more courses to boot!
Finishing my PhD is quite a challenge for me now. Sometimes I am always on the verge of giving it up. However, seeing how my parents work hard for
us since we were kids brings a different kind of energy to me. And whenever I
see difficult roadblocks along the way, I always imagine that if I pass through
every test and trial—I know, and I am pretty sure of it that my parents would
lovingly embrace me with so much love, so much pride and so much happiness. I will not give up!
We are so blessed that God gave us the most wonderful
parents in the world. We love you Papa
and Mama! We wish you both nothing but all the best in your wonderful journey called LIFE. :)
