Hello friends!
I already gave birth last June. It happened unexpectedly and in the most
unusual circumstances. One fine Tuesday morning, my parents dropped me off at
Polymedic Hospital for my weekly check-up. What happened next was so fast that until
now I still couldn’t believe that I am already here blogging about my son’s
birth.
Anyway, to
cut the long story short, my blood pressure shoot up and I was admitted at
Polymedic Plaza and was closely monitored. Around 8-9-ish in the evening, the
contractions began and I was seething and writhing with pain. All through the
ordeal, my husband was there for me holding my hand or soothing my back. At one
point, we held our eyes together as I breathed in and out.
At around 5am, I was
already fully dilated and they immediately wheeled me to the delivery room
while we wait for my oby. It was prolly the longest “wait” I had to make in my
life. I even begged the resident doctor to perform CS right then and there. She
soothed my back as I held her hand and she told me that I can do it normally.
Finally, my Oby arrived and with just one peek down there, she knew there’s no
more wasting time. She told me to push
harder without shouting. With all the strength I could muster, I pushed my
little wiggler out and there…. finally.. I saw him wailing and crying with his
arms flinging. It was and still will be the most beautiful sight I ever did see
and the most “cutest” cry I ever did hear in my whole entire life.
At exactly,
5:29 a.m. I gave birth to my first-born child—Nathan Clive Adame-Igot. He came in
weeks early but he is a strong little guy and is now gaining and packing more
weight. Life is more beautiful and meaningful with him around. Every day, I thank
God for giving me a chance to be a mother to baby Nathan. My husband and I are
truly blessed beyond belief. Thank God for a very awesome, beautiful miracle on a rainy, cold season of June.
