While waiting for hubby to get home from work, I
am here again to write my thoughts out.
I have been enjoying being a domesticated
goddess-slash-wife. Hehehe! I am still
open to get some part time jobs and if one should be available, then I’ll take
it. But I have set my parameters now. I
do looooveee teaching preschool but I think I need to venture out to some other
areas as well. But yes, putting up a preschool is still one of my dreams. But
with all the requirements set from DepEd, I reckon I should prolly scrap it out
from my wish list. The again, who knows?
Anyhoo, from the weeks that I spent at home
doing household chores, I realized that I do love every single of it. Sooner or
later, this phase will be over but for now, I am still basking from the perks of
being a stay-at-home wife.
First off, I get to sleep late and wake up real
late. That would be superficial. But then again…. its one of the perks too!
I think the ultimate answer would be…..
I finally
learn to love some things which are the least of my interests while I am still
single and care-free. In short, I learn to be responsible especially when it
deals with managing our home tweet home.
And I learn how to toss those green veggies and
make a home-cooked meal out of it. At first, I easily get tired especially in
the slicing-peeling-paring part. Now, I am so proud of myself for fixing lunch
and dinner for my husband in just a matter of time or sometimes in the nick of
time.
The best part is.. I get to hear sweet
compliments from thy husband. And the words that are music to my ears every
meal is my husband’s way of saying “thanks for dinner Bee..so yummy!!!” (
insert: happy-giddy face of a young boy) and I kept hearing it and it makes me wanna
cook again and again.
Also, I am more organized than before. I know
how to sort our “for-going” clothes, our bed covers, kitchen utensils, books,
bags and shoes among others.
And now, I am thinking of planting flowers and
growing some veggies too! That makes me all excited. There are so many projects
in line now and I kept on dreaming of it.
This will be pretty eggzzitiinggg! :)
