Soonish!

Few more weeks from now, I will be saying “I do” to the man I chose to love forever. After accomplishing most of our church requirements, I realized that “WE ARE SO GETTING MARRIED SOON!”  and every day when I wake up in the morning, I always have this happy-gushing kind of excitement whenever I check our wedding checklist. For me, preparing and laying out the details of our wedding is such a happy stress buster. I mean, there are instances when I feel helpless with everything but after dissecting every detail and making sure it’s all in our mood board and wedding checklist, I know that everything will go as planned. Of course, we always pray from God that everything will be smooth sailing.

Since Bee and I do not have a wedding coordinator, we always reserved our weekends mapping out the details. Of course, we have to play and work within our tight budget so those extravagant and ambitious ideas of mine should be set aside. We already booked the church as well as the venue for the reception and we are almost done with all those paper works and seminars to attend. Bee and I were glad and blessed to have undergone the Precana seminar. At first, I thought it would be tiring to stay the whole day listening to married couples giving inputs and sharing their experiences but at the end, I realized that through their sharing, Bee and I were able to have a sneak peak on what lies ahead as we go on with our journey together.

I want to chronicle everything in my blogpost; from the proposal to the wedding prep/details and the wedding day itself. For now, I will just be sharing the process that we have been through these days. Yes, there are days when we both disagree with our choices in style or in what fabric to use or what menu to serve but with those kind of disagreements, Bee and I are able to come up with something that will make us both happy. It might not be my choice or his but at least we always meet halfway.

Anyhoo, I still do hope and pray that as the date gets closer and closer, Bee and I will be able to hurdle the challenges in prepping for our big day. For now, I am just happy relishing every single moment of my day and I can really say that it’s nicer that Bee and I are very hands-on with everything. It made us closer together. Preparing for our wedding, therefore, is a happy stress buster. No room for being a groomzilla or bridezella!
