I’m back in the city again. Tomorrow’s gonna be a long day for me. My class will start at 8 and ends by 5 but I’m fine with it. In fact I wish I have classes during week days because I’m totally bored staying in the house practically doing the same things everyday.

But I had a great time this week. I felt no pressure whatsoever and I got to really take my time in sleeping as long as I please. In Bkk, I had to wake up really early for work and had to take Bus 95 which will stop by the Soi, then another 2-3 minute ride towards the end of the Soi. And I arrived really early, like 6:15 and I was like, “alrightie, guess i can take forty winks, if the souls in this building won’t mind”. Hahahaha!! The same thing goes while I was still working in Oro Christian Grace School. When I was still assigned at the Admin office, I arrived really early that I have to buzz and the night shift guard will open the gate for me. Anyhoo, I saw Mr. Chee today (Ocgs’s Director) at the airport while I was waiting for my brother. I used to freak out before whenever he went to my desk and ask me to fax this, call Mr. so and so, ask me “ivy bah, bat’ ganito, bat’ ganyan”, “ivy, update me sa mga enrollees”, or sometimes he would flare up at the office speaking in Mandarin or Fukien. Oh, gone were those days but still he’s a good boss. He even extended his concern to me when he knew about my once-upon-a-time failing health.

Papa was super nice to me this week. I needed the green table to be moved up to my room so that I can just dump my books in there. He volunteered to tidy up the dark spots in it. First he went to the garage and got some chemicals and when it didn’t work, he asked me to hand him a Zonrox, then after that Muriatic acid. Viola! It worked! And after I had my afternoon nap, I found the green table inside my room already. :)

Hmm, something’s really bothering me right now. I had a chat with Zach the past few days. He was my co-teacher back in BKK. He is an (ESL)English as Second Language instructor and he shared to me how pissed off he is with his life, with the things going on with his work, his life (as a single parent), with his Dad who recently passed away and with everything. He shared to me his heartaches and vice versa. He wondered why there’s so much crap dumped on good people and why so many good things are given to those who deserve nothing more than crap. I wish all his pain will simply go away.
He has an adorable son, Kim (half American-half Thai), who was with me in the Nursery class for 6-7 months. Whenever Zach would drop Kim in class my heart wrings when they say their goodbyes.
