yey! and boring... and all in between...

My week ended well. Last Friday, I went to Alwana with Joyce for the Self-Exploration Process (SEP) since we were not able to attend the 1st session a week ago. I went there not just because I needed the accounts to answer question # 2 in my midterm exam but I also want to undergo the process, to cull down the issues in my life and to have a view of its root causes. There should have been 10 of us but many were not able to make it due to the pouring rain. We had the session at Ma’am Darlene’s school (Saint Paul’s Child Learning Center) and she had her room re-arranged just for the session; 10 throw pillows arranged in a circular way and 5 lighted candles at the middle. It was a perfect time and place for some self exploration; the sound of the crickets, the ambiance and the pitter-pattering of the rain.

So there were only 3 of us, Ma’am Darlene (facilitator), Joyce and me. I was able to cull down some issues in my life but of course I will not spill it here. I acknowledged the issue and willing to cut it off in my system. I am now in control of my life. Yey!

After the session, we went to Ma’am Darlene's house for a sumptuous dinner. To think that she prepared a meal for ten people and only two came was some kind of a festivity for my growling tummy. I loved the Linguine salmon smoked pasta. I think it was tossed with basil, butter and olive oil; it was not creamy but it was really yummy. The lemon cake was an extra delight for my sweet tooth though it was not really sweet. Haha. But the lemony flavor tasted good in my palette.

The night ended well except that I wasn’t able to watch the ending of My Girl. sigh!

Saturday class--- Twas good. Karl had his demo teaching with the special kids at Pro-care and Rey had his facilitating module presented. In the afternoon, Doctor Chavez gave out the midterm results and she said I did a very good job in the exam. Yey again! I reported about Bruner’s theory of Constructivism and my class report rubric scoring sheet was high.

I guess that was all for the week.

Other than school stuff, my routine last week can be very pretty summed up as B-O-R-I-N-G!
