2 years and counting!

This is very late already but I just want to blog it out since it’s one of the most important events of my life. Anyway, Bee and I celebrated our two years of being together last February 2012. Time flies by so fast and I couldn’t believe we have come this far. Our relationship had a good share of ups and downs but we still manage to make it through inspite and despite the many roadblocks that come our way.

I believe that I have found a “home” whenever I am with him. Although he is 6 years my senior we still get along pretty well. In fact, I can relate well with old stuff and he can be upbeat with the latest. In fact it is I who loves listening to old tunes while he likes listening more of the modern genre. But we blend just fine. I am more of the silent type while he can practically have a concert with just the two of us. Most of the times, he can melt my heart when he sings any love song for me.

Way back on our first few months of being together, I always get disappointed whenever he forgets our monthsaries and when he doesn’t walk an extra mile to surprise me. I love surprises and I totally love receiving flowers.  Oh well, I was then too frank to tell him that I do love being surprised. I guess sometimes women have to say what they really want so that their needs and desires will be properly addressed. Hahahaha!

And on the months that follow, he started to make extra ordinary moves that left me dumbfounded at times. Once, he just called in to say that he is on his way to visit me in our house and I was like… “what?? How come you did not inform me ahead of time?!?  I should have prepared something and I could have asked permission from my parents that you are coming?!!!!  I was so furious at him on the phone that I totally lambasted him with harsh words in a seemingly harsh tone. Little did I know that he was already very hurt and when I called back to ask him where he was, he told me all he ever  wanted to do was to surprise me and yet it seems that I am not in a good mood and that he was on his way back home.

I felt suddenly cold and tears flowed down on my cheeks. What a cold hearted bitch I am!!! Guilty of committing such huge mistake, I asked my mom that I have something very important to settle with Bee. But whenever I dialled his two numbers, all I heard was the woman in machine voice saying “the number you have dialled is out of coverage area, please try your call later”. After a gazillion of attempts, he finally answered and agreed to meet me at the mall. I was so sorry and I promised him that I will never be that harsh again.

And so our lives continue to revolve in magical wonders. Of course, we still go through a lot of petty fights from time to time but we already know how to control it.
A day before our anniversary we found ourselves at the mall shopping for new clothes. We just thought it would be nice to wear something new on such a special occasion.

Anyway, to make a long story short we had our dinner at Vienne Kaffehaus. I gave him the scrap book I made while he again (for the nth time) surprised me to death.

After dinner, he asked me where I want to go so I said, “I really don’t know” and then he asked me to come with him at the back of the car. Then he opened the trunk and lo and behold, a very huge, yummylicious looking cake formed into a bouquet of flowers. It was so breathtaking! Then we had coffee together and he flipped through the pages of the scrapbook while I read the content of my card for him. Then of course, a moment should always be captured with few clicks from here and there. Snapshots!

Then we said our “ I love you’s” and sealed the night with a kiss. J
