THE LOVE I FOUND IN YOU
You are the air I need to breathe
The river of life inside of me
You are the half that made me whole
You are the anchor of my soul
And you are strong when I am weak
You are the words when I can't speak
You never fail to see me through
That's the love I found in you
You are my shelter from the storm
You are the road that leads me home
And baby with you here face to face
Oh I know I've found my place
And you are strong when I am weak
You are the words when I can't speak
You never fail to see me through
That's the love I found in you
And once in every life
You find the one that's right
And when you say forever it's true
That's the love I found in you
You are strong when I am weak
You are the words when I can't speak
You never fail to see me through
That's the love I found in you
That's the love, love I found in you

update
Oh gee, I was wrong when I wrote something about Lourdes using Dewey Decimal Classification. I mean, yes the school is using it which I believe all schools are but they do also have the Online Public Access Catalog software (OPACs) and the system was just down the last time I went there. So far, my visit this afternoon was quite good and I was able to borrow some books for my reports this coming Saturday.
And yeah, I already got my XU Alumni i.d.this morning and they also have free alumni newsletter. There is an article about the one-of-a-kind debate involving XU alumni on the proposition that the name Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan be changed to Ateneo de Cagayan University. Oh well....

Friday is FLY-DAY! :)

Oh, I think I am on the verge of finally forgetting my ex-boyfriend because I think I found a new one.
And this new love interest happens to be a vampire. Hahaha!
I so so so like him; the way he walks, the way he talks, the way he stares and the way he protects the girl of his life. Where can I find some guy right now who will protect me 24/7? Haha!
I like Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen on the movie Twilight. It’s Perfect! Amazingly perfect! It got me so kilig like some high school girl giggling over some serious, mysterious looking guy in the campus. I like the scene wherein Edward and his vampire friends are sitting on the other side of the cafet while he steals glances of Belle. Kilig ever! Second to that is the way he formally introduces himself to Belle. I really don’t know--maybe it’s his eyes, the way he carries himself and the way he protects the girl that really got me smitten over him.
Anyway, I was with Pa and Ma and I guess they also like the story although I saw Papa closed his eyes on some parts of the movie. Oh well, he likes “gira2x” type of movies so I can’t really blame him. I was the one who dragged them to watch the movie with me after we had our lunch. After the movie, I asked Papa if he could buy me the Saga books, Twilight and its sequels; New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn but when we arrived at NBS it was out of stock. I had my kuya check on the other branch but they also don’t have it. Hmm, what about AMAZON?!?
I also like to read THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE, another kind of Lovely Bones book. I saw it when I was looking for Twilight saga books. I was able to read Lovely Bones before but it was not really of my liking. It’s quite a sad story of a young girl raped by this mysterious man and how she watches from heaven the way life goes on her family and friends. Nights of Rodanthe is also now showing in the movie theaters and I also love to watch it since I was able to read the book years ago. It is a book by Nicholas Sparks!
I am so sleepy now. After watching the movie, my brother invited me to have dinner with him, his girlfriend and his gf’s cousin and Tita.
But I don’t want to sleep without having to share my date with the vampire today. Haha! Nytinyt all! So so sleepy! ZzzZzzZzzZ!!!

my day! ;)
Yes, I finally went to the library this afternoon and had the worst headache of my life.
Here goes:
I went inside and asked the girl behind the counter where I can find Statistics and Research books and she was like lost in the woods but after circling around the counter’s area she finally handed me two old books.
I look for a computer where I can just hit the keyboard and search for list of authors and books only to find myself searching using the Dewey Decimal Classification system which I can proudly brag right now that I was able to memorize that during grade school and got a perfect score in a POP quiz. Hahaha! POP QUIZ! Sounds really funny! Pop!Goes the weasel!!!
I really had the hard time locating the books I wanted. I mean, in XU all I do is hit the buttons, copy the code or whatever and go straight to the book section, grab it, flip through the pages to find the topic, dash off to the counter, hand in the i.d. and viola I can already go home with a mission very much accomplished!
Too bad XU is not offering a master’s degree in Early Childhood Program but I am also thankful that I get to see another campus. Lourdes is competitive when it comes to Education (Masters) and many of the grad students make it to the top ten best papers in Mindanao. Oh well, just as long as I am learning every day, it doesn’t really matter the “this and the that”. But next week, I will really get my alumni I.d in XU so that I can use the library.
Anyhoo, after searching for some books, I finally made it to the counter again and asked the guy behind if I can borrow it.
He said, “Sorry Miss but there’s something wrong with the system so I cannot process it, maybe it will work next week. Maybe you can have it photocopied.”
I asked,“Uhm, Where’s the photocopier?”
He answered, “Sorry Miss but there’s something wrong with the toner so…..” And his voice trailed off.
I said, “I really need this copy today so what can I do?”
He suggested, “uhm, maybe you can go outside the school and have it photocopied, just give me your I.d.”
So, off I went outside the school to have some pages copied, returned the books and found myself a place to sit when some guy approached me and said, “Miss, can you deposit your bag outside where you can see a bag counter?”
And I said to myself, “Is this some kind of a mall?”
But anyway, it’s ok.I have no qualms about it. I even appreciate the goodness of the staff in Lourdes. They are very accommodating and will really help me if I need something. Even the guy behind the counter was extra nice. The only problem I guess is the lack of facilities but other than that, it’s perfect! My professors are all nice and I really learned a lot from them.
Actually, my 1st choice is to enroll myself in a distance learning so that I can still continue working in BKK while studying. University of the Philippines (Open U.) is offering e-learning courses but they don’t offer Masters in SPED and ECP.
So here I am! :)

XU days..Devcom friends...
I had fun tonight. My good friend Ryan and I went to XU for the XU day celebration. Although it drizzled, we were able to walk around and ate popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream then we also visited the Devcom office and lab. So much has changed in the Devcom offices and lab in the span of 3-4 years. I cannot believe that I am this old already and walking around the campus again, I felt I was really out of place in crowded hallways jam-packed with college students making their way to their friends, bf and gf’s.
Anyway, Kevin and Thieza arrived so we went out and had dinner in the resto of Kevin’s Aunt. Ma’am Shee, our Devcom teacher was also there and then Choco and Kaloy also joined us after their work. We really had a good time laughing and reminiscing our devcom days—especially the trips we had together. We’re a family! Too bad I wasn’t able to bring my trusty digi-cam. It’s supposed to be one of those shoulda-woulda-bring-a-camera moments. Hahaha! But Ma’am Shee had her camera so we had our never-ending devcom photo sessions.
I am looking forward for another bonding session with them. It’s been awhile that I isolate myself from the social world and I guess a simple gathering will take all my blues away. Hahaha!
Tomorrow I will be going to the library and do some research and then write some response paper in one of my grad subjects. Hahay!
I am too tired and sleepy already…I can’t put the words together so gudnyt! ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

hodge-podge!
I know I’ve been out of nowhere near this blogosphere for the past few days. I was just busy being not busy so that clearly explains my absence. Hahaha!
Ok, my father adopted an old wise, tricky monkey who was dispatched by the owner because it bites people. But my father has a good soul and I guess the moment he saw the monkey, he totally fell in love with it that he insisted we should give the monkey a second chance. I named him Kipling (like the brand of the bag-- Kipling) but my family fondly called him Muy muy. He got lost yesterday. :( Although he was a meanie, I still found him really funny. I think all monkeys are.
I would like to believe that monkeys make people be totally spaced out for awhile and just be amused on looking on how cute, funny and silly they (the monkeys) could be. It eases out the daily stressors in life just by simply looking at them. Hehehe!

Anyhoo, my thesis proposal about gender roles of pre-school teachers was approved last Saturday. Yey! Now, I can already gather some ideas and probably go to the library and research more about it. This coming Saturday I will be attending a presentation of dissertations and research papers and I guess the organization will also be giving out journals. Perfect!

Oh, I can really say NOW that my MEMORY IS AS SHORT AS OF A GOLDFISH WHICH IS 5 SECONDS. I was supposed to have a demo on a school that I applied last week but I totally forgot that the Pre-school Principal changed the date to Dec. 2 instead of Dec 3. Last night I was so busy preparing my I-SPY Box, sand paper, alphabet picture friends and this morning when I woke up I already had in mind to go out to buy some flash cards….only to found out on a text message from a friend that TODAY IS MY DEMO DAY and IT WAS TOO LATE. Although my friend said I can still do it by January, I know that I already created a first bad impression. My memory sucks, BIG TIME! Argghhh!

Hmm… my cousin committed suicide and I still cannot fathom on the idea that it actually came to his mind to do such thing. But who am I to judge? I am a sinner myself and I guess no one on this land has the right to condemn people who committed suicide. The big question is, is he allowed (the body) to enter inside the church and be given the rites? Some people do not usually approve of it since it was not allowed way back in the 50’s, I guess. But the Canon Law changed it in the ‘60s. It was also the time when the priests will already face the people while saying the mass. As we recall history, the priests actually face the altar not the people during the years before 60’s.
So yes, the body can be brought inside the church and be given the rites right after the Canon Law changed it.

On a much lighter side, I am so happy when I got my grades last semester. I got 1.0 and 1.25. Yehey!!! Effort paid! La la la la!!!

I just remember that when one is sexually aroused, he/she can actually juxtapose his/her sexual energies to some low level energy on some areas of his life. Like, if a person has low level of energy in painting or designing or whatever then he can actually re-direct his potential sexual energy into it and the design will be PERFECT! So, use your sexual energy wisely… Hahaha..
